Buddy enjoys teasing the other children until they finally refuse to play with him anymore. The roles then become reversed when some older children start to tease Buddy. He then experiences the same hurt and embarrassment that he has caused others. When he complains to his mother, she tells him about her granddad's four step program for stopping teasing. The next day, Buddy's friend, Sarah, gives him a list of ways to stop the teasing. Buddy is successful in stopping the teasing when he follows Granddad's four step program and applies the suggestions Sarah has given him.
